The built-in Bluetooth system provides one-touch control for a variety of functions, including making and receiving phone calls, intercom communication, listening to music, FM radio, and GPS audio. It's important to note the key differences between the ILM-953 and ILM-953Pro models. The standard ILM-953 allows for 2-3 rider intercom communication, while the Pro version supports a group intercom of up to 6-8 riders. The group intercom function on the Pro model is not compatible with the 2-3 rider intercom of the standard ILM-953 or other Bluetooth devices.

For optimal battery performance, it is recommended to charge the battery regularly, even if the product has not been in use. Incoming phone calls will override intercom, music, and GPS audio functions. Users are advised to refer to the included user manual for more detailed information.

The helmet's ventilation system features surface-mounted chin and crown vents to enhance airflow and prevent visor fogging. To address this issue, riders can flip up the visor, open all vents, or use an anti-fog visor or spray.

The chin guard can be easily released with the press of a button, allowing the full-face helmet to be used as a flip-up model. The removable and replaceable chin curtain provides additional protection from cold and wind.

The helmet's multi-density liners, including the top liner and ear liners, are removable and washable. Users are advised to take care when changing the ear pads, as the headphones are integrated into them. An extra set of cheek liners or pads can be obtained for a better fit.

The internal sun visor can be easily deployed to transition from sun to shade, and the outer lens is replaceable, available in clear and tinted options. Riders are cautioned against using tinted visors in low-light or nighttime conditions.

The helmet's quick-release buckle system allows for easy and convenient donning and doffing. To open the system, simply lift the red lever with the ribbon and pull out the buckle.

The battery set includes a single battery, a USB charging cable, and a user manual. It is recommended to store the battery in a cool place and have an extra battery available if the original one malfunctions.
